I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, all those veterinary teams that are keeping the emergency hospitals going during these intense times.
During COVID-19, we general medicine and specialist clinics have limited hours and limited staffing due to curbside protocols in place to keep clients and teams as safe as possible. We are not able to see as many patients and a lot of us are fully scheduled weeks in advance. This puts a lot of pressure on the emergency clinics, who also have to operate in a curbside manner, are treating under pressured conditions and seeing more patients than ever.
I want to honor these team members for their tireless efforts during this stressful time and send love and appreciation to both them and their families at home!
