DR. BETH INNIS, DVM, CVA, CCRT, CVCHM, CVSMT

Dr. Beth Innis is the founder and owner of Sleepy Dog Veterinary.
She is a licensed veterinarian, certified in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary chiropractic, veterinary Chinese herbal medicine, canine
rehabilitation and currently studying Western herbal medicine.
It is her personal mission to welcome pets and their people to a calm space filled with a caring team so that we can all take part in making their lives more healthy and happy. In her spare time Dr. Innis enjoys yoga, reading and loves enjoying the outdoors with her dogs. She
lives in Belmont with her husband, Tom, two daughters, two dogs, Prince Andrew and Otto, cats Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher and four guinea pigs.
DR. CHAGIT STEINER, DVM
Dr. Chagit Steiner has more than fifteen years of experience working as a veterinarian in Massachusetts focusing on caring for dogs and cats. She is particularly interested in internal medicine, geriatric care, dermatology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Steiner prides herself on providing meaningful and compassionate care for all her patients, and takes time to listen and understand her clients’ concerns and needs. She is excited to join the team at Sleepy Dog, where she will have the opportunity to provide high quality integrative care to all of our patients. In her free time, Dr. Steiner is a dedicated climate activist. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and her two cats named Scratch and Motek.

DR. JAN JEFFERS, DVM
Dr. Jeffers grew up in the central coast area of California and attended UCLA as an undergraduate. She is a graduate of Tufts Veterinary School and has always worked in the greater Boston area. While there are no pets currently at home, she is best friends with many friends’ and neighbors’ dogs- or maybe it’s the pocket full of treats! Spare time is occupied with walking ( including a recent segment of the Camino de Santiago!), swimming, traveling, and reading.
BREENA ROPER

PRACTICE MANAGER
Practice Manager Breena just joined Sleepy Dog Veterinary in March of 2025. She has a degree in East Asian Studies but her other passion is animals. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She has experience working for both general practice and emergency hospitals. She loves her job and continues to be an advocate for animals. She enjoys traveling, baking, music and pet sitting. In her spare time she also sings in Merrimack Valley A capella. She currently lives in Andover with her husband and has a son and 2 daughters. Her home is also filled with 3 dogs. Annie and Winnie the crazy catahoulas and their crazy pug Eevee.
SHERRY FARRELL

VETERINARY NURSE
Nurse Sherry was drawn to veterinary medicine because of her love of animals and wanting to help pets and their people. She attended Essex Agricultural Tech and has more than 30 years of experience helping our four-legged family members. She is excited to be part of the team at Sleepy Dog, where she loves being able to help people understand what we do and why we do it. In her free time, Sherry enjoys playing cozy video games, hanging out with friends and living a quiet life. She shares a home with a 13 year old toothless cat named Tuna.
SOPHIE WASNIEWSKI

VETERINARY NURSE

Sophie is a Boston native and graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2019 with a major in Environmental Studies. She has worked with dogs and animals since she was old enough to work, with extensive experience in daycare, boarding, and grooming. This past winter, she made the decision to venture into veterinary medicine and has been loving it so far. In her free time when she is not busy with her many dog-sitting clients, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, swimming, playing tennis, skiing, and spending time with friends & family.
Teresa Fardella​
VETERINARY NURSE
Teresa, a New Orleans native, has worked in the veterinary field since 2008. She graduated from Delgado Community College in 2011 with an associate degree in veterinary technology and became a registered veterinary technician. She worked at Magazine Street Animal Clinic for several years alongside the practice owner in surgery, dentistry, and various hospital procedures. Upon moving to Boston in 2018, she began working at Back Bay Veterinary Clinic as a surgical technician and is now thrilled to become a part of the dream team at Sleepy Dog! She is also the ballet director at Insync Center of the Arts, and a company dancer with Saving Grace Dance Ensemble. When she is not teching or dancing, she enjoys hanging out with her dog Minnie, and two cats Moon Pie and Poboy.
Arianna Terrazano​
VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
Arianna is a West Medford native and a graduate of Fisher College, where she earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services. She has had animals since before she could talk and has always wanted to work in the field of veterinary medicine. After graduating from college, she started at her previous clinic as a receptionist and later began cross-training in the back. She is excited to continue growing in the veterinary field. On her free time, she enjoys walking, baking, collecting crystals, and spending time with her friends, family, as well as her dog Brinkley, and cat Storm.
